The company is fully owned by Egyptian government, operates regular passenger and cargo flights to more than 70 airports of Europe, Africa, Middle and Far East, and North America, it is also fully represented on domestic market. EgyptAir is the second largest airline in Africa. It joined Star Alliance on 11 September 2008, thus becoming the first Middle Eastern member of the alliance.

أسوء شركة طيران في العالم بيحجزوا اكتر من عدد الكراسي اللي في الطائرة، تركب كأنك راكب اتوبيس أو قطر غير ملتزم بمصالح الركاب او صحتهم لا انصح ابدا بالسفر على تلك الرحله أولادي في الطائرة من ساعتين ولسه متحركتش راكب المجهول..... حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل فيهم
