Charity ticket

Charity Ticket** is an additional service and a social project by the Tickets Group of Companies, offering an opportunity for the project participants to provide victims of hostilities with tickets from the Ukrainian Railways carrier within Ukraine by purchasing the service at Tickets’ websites. This additional service is intended to create conditions for the project participants and to handle formalities associated with purchase of a special ticket.

Project participants are persons who either create the possibility for, or have a need for, buying a ticket.

Project participants who create the possibility for buying a ticket (the “Buyers”) join the project unconditionally through a purchase of the additional service on the website. This additional service may be purchased while making a reservation. The Buyers determine the cost of the service at their discretion. Settlements between Tickets and the Buyers occur according to the procedure defined in Tickets’ Offer. The Charity Ticket additional service is non-refundable, even in the event of any change to, or refund of, the principal reservation.

Tickets may be purchased by those who:
  • are trying to leave the occupied territories or territories close to the hostilities area;
  • find themselves in a difficult financial situation because of the Russian Federation’s military aggression;
  • are looking for a chance to reach a safe place quickly, but lack time or means for that;
  • join the project subject to full and unconditional acceptance of all conditions related to the type of tickets, their price, the procedure for their delivery, and subject to acceptance of Tickets’ privacy policy and payment of the service fee of 1 hryvnia;
  • present a document evidencing the IDP (internally displaced person) status.
More information about the possibility of using such a ticket can be found here.

Tickets implements this additional service by accepting funds at the cost of the service set by the Buyers, handling any formalities associated with the issuance of charity tickets, the issuance/processing of ticket buyers’ documents, keeping records of refunds where necessary, managing the appropriate processing of data and its delivery to the authorities and institutions according to the laws and regulations in the buyer’s country.
